Frequently Asked Questions

What is AI in Health Informatics?

AI in Health Informatics (AIHI) is my independent concentration (i.e. major) at Brown. AIHI uniquely combines aspects of data science, computer science, biomedical science, and healthcare into a single program. The program ultimately teaches students to create innovative, efficient, and accurate systems to tackle individual and population health problems, supported by rigorous courses and practical projects.

I personally designed the curriculum (20-page proposal) so that I could optimize my undergraduate education for my career as a future physician-informaticist.

How do you pronounce your name?

My name is pronounced MUH-nuhn Puhn-CHO-lee (all caps used for emphasis). All a's in my name have the "uh" sound like in "but."

You're from Scranton? Like The Office?
